A Little About Me

My coaching is informed by more than two decades of experience educating and supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigated ADHD, executive functioning challenges, learning differences, anxiety, and life transitions.

Before opening Regulation + Focus Coaching, I was an English teacher who noticed that many of my neurodivergent students were not receiving the understanding and support they needed to thrive.

That realization led me to pursue my doctorate and eventually become the director of my school's student support department, where I partnered daily for almost a decade with students, families, teachers, and administrators to help students experience less stress and more success. Together, we identified what each student needed academically and personally, then developed individualized learning plans, accommodations, and practical strategies that fit the unique way they learned and lived.

I hold three degrees, including a Ph.D. from St. John's University, where my dissertation focused on college-aged students with ADHD. I completed my professional coach training through the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) and continue pursuing advanced education in ADHD coaching and neurodivergent support.

My love of learning continues to shape my coaching. I am committed to deepening my understanding of neurodivergent individuals, remaining curious about both their strengths and challenges, and continually growing into the best coach I can be.
